The biggest thing we get out of it is seeing the kids smile. And hopefully we will also see that the lessons we’re teaching – not only the fundamentals of hockey, but also the life values – are sinking in.

CrossIce Developments opened up many doors for me as a hockey player. Opportunities always arose with the help of Chance and his staff. From private 1 on 1 sessions, to his prep and skill camps, Chance always pushed me and others around me to be the best. I wouldn't be where I am today without CrossIce Developments. Their camps are high pace and push you to your limits, I would highly recommend them to any player looking to succeed in hockey!

CrossIce Developments (CID) is a great resource for hockey organizations and players looking to develop team and player skills for hockey and other sports. The Central Alberta Selects Hockey organization finds CID extremely knowledgeable, passionate, adaptive and agile; with a team of mentors and instructors that utilize current instructional techniques, drills, tools and technologies to support player and team development needs. CAS have been able to embed the CID team into our program to support the player development and overall experience of our hockey program. They do all this with a very human flair - one that encourages the player to step out of their comfort zone to better themselves as a player and/or team.

Lacombe Minor Hockey Association continues to hire Chance and the CrossIce team to work with all of our players and goalies from U11 up to U18 as our skill development resource. They are excellent at working with the different skill groups and ages. Both the players and coaches enjoy having CrossIce there as a valuable resource. Our coaches are able to attend their skills sessions and expand their knowledge as well. Even when our ice schedule changes, they are always easy to work with. We will definitely be working lots with CrossIce in the future!

CrossIce Developments has had a big influence on my son Ethan through his development on and off the ice, but most importantly has made him a better person and brought out the positive in everything. Chance provided us with top notch training, knowledge, opportunities, and guidance to help get from one level to the next through his camps, 1 on 1 work, and just to be there to talk to Ethan. His desire to see kids develop and push them to be the best they can be is second to none. CrossIce has pushed Ethan to be the best player by putting him in situations to allow him to succeed. Chance has been an awesome mentor and someone we will always look up to!

Chance is very hard working and I love working with him. To have someone who is so dedicated, loyal, and smart in my corner has truly been a treat. I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to be playing Junior A Hockey if it weren’t for him and his strong connection within the league. Chance is also great when it comes to the weight room. He pushes you hard but in the end the grind is worth it. He will work with you and get an understanding of what your needs are so he can build a plan around them so you can get stronger and faster. Overall, having Chance around has been a tremendous help for both myself and my family as he takes a lot of pride in what he does and I’m always happy to have him by my side.
