As of the evening of Thursday, March 12th, 2020- CrossIce Developments’ Junior Prep Camp taking place March 18/19, and 23-26, is still a “go.” Due to our camp taking place at the smaller and more isolated Alexandra Arena in Leduc, rather than Leduc Recreation Centre, the only people in the building should be our participating players, their families, on-ice instructors, and potentially some scouting staff evaluating. No ice is booked before or after our camp, so therefore, overall attendance in the facility should be relatively low.

We encourage any players or family members that are feeling ill, or showing any of the COVID-19 symptoms, to REMAIN AT HOME!

As part of our due diligence, we will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in the Central Alberta and Edmonton region. Our players and their families’ health and well-being are of high importance to us. We will continue providing updates, up to the start of camp. Unless there is a closure of the rink by the City of Leduc, our camp is planned to remain starting on March 18th as of now!
